# Website Design Awards

> Daily awards for exceptional website design. Every winner is judged on design, innovation, usability and accessibility against published criteria.

Sites reach the awards three ways: creators submit their own work, visitors nominate sites they admire, and new launches are discovered in design galleries and launch communities. Each one gets a screenshot-based review and a technical audit of its live HTML. Sites scoring 8.0+ overall become winners (the best of each day is Site of the Day); submitted sites scoring 7.0–7.9 earn an Honorable Mention.
