Jury review of ДЕР — Департамент економічного розвитку Бердичів
A municipal economic development platform for Berdychiv, Ukraine, structured with editorial numbering, project roadmaps, and investor-facing clarity.
The Department of Economic Development of Berdychiv presents an unusually forward-looking digital presence for local municipal government. Stepping away from bureaucratic bloat, the site employs structured editorial indexing, sharp project categories, and investor-oriented metrics. Accessibility fundamentals are largely in place, featuring complete landmark coverage, keyboard skip links, and an explicit on-screen animation pause control. Without visual confirmation via screenshot, evaluation of visual hierarchy remains cautious, but the underlying markup demonstrates clean semantic execution and purposeful municipal communication.
What the jury loved
- Exceptional markup hygiene with full landmark regions and fully labelled interactive elements.
- Native skip link and custom motion-pause toggle show thoughtful consideration for user control.
- Concise, structured civic content oriented toward international investment and infrastructure.
