Jury review of DuoKits
A speculative directory documenting applications and interface concepts tailored for an imagined foldable iPhone Duo form factor.
DuoKits approaches speculative product design through the practical framing of a curated app directory for an unreleased foldable iPhone. Built on Astro, the architecture is clean, fast-loading, and semantically sound, boasting clear landmarks and properly labeled controls. While the underlying premise relies on speculative hardware concepts, the execution treats the catalogue with the earnest rigor of an active ecosystem index. Without an accompanying visual screenshot, the art direction cannot be fully verified, but the functional organization and thoughtful content descriptions deliver a focused, usable conceptual platform.
What the jury loved
- Clean semantic markup featuring appropriate heading hierarchies and landmarks.
- Fast initial page load with low byte count and Astro static generation.
- Clever conceptual premise turning speculative hardware into a functional directory.
