The jury's review
Jury review of Zeller Webdesign
A freelance digital studio portfolio from Erding pairing craft-focused bespoke code with accessible local service offerings.
Zeller Webdesign presents a direct, craft-focused portfolio tailored to small regional businesses while asserting an anti-template, hand-coded ethos. The architectural foundation shows sound semantic hygiene, fast TTFB (72 ms), clean landmarks, and purposeful integration of Lenis smooth scrolling alongside bespoke micro-animations and Blender 3D showcases. While the positioning as an artisanal, no-WordPress studio delivers clear commercial focus, the absence of prefers-reduced-motion accommodations and unlabelled form controls holds back accessibility compliance. Visually confident in concept, it represents solid, purposeful boutique agency work that benefits from clear client-facing clarity.
What the jury loved
- Clear, direct positioning and transparent pricing structured for small business clients.
- Rapid initial load performance with lightweight technical foundation and 72 ms TTFB.
- Strong semantic DOM landmark structure with full skip-link navigation.
